Last week, from 20th to 24th October, was visiting the LSI, Prof. Pamela Zontone from the University of Genova, who was giving us a PhD Course focused on “Introduction to Cognitive Dynamic Systems”. We are very grateful for her advanced seminars that enriched the knowledge of the LSI PhD students on: (i) Introduction to Cognitive Dynamic Systems and Foundations of Probability; (ii) Self-awareness, Representation, Inference, Learning, and Probabilistic Graphical Models; (iii) Bayesian Filtering and the Kalman Filter; (iv) Particle Filters and Introduction to Markov Jump Particle Filters; (v) Markov Jump Particle Filters and Unsupervised Learning in Self-Aware Systems
