Intelligent Systems Lab (LSI, which is abbreviated from its Spanish translation: Laboratorio de Sistemas Inteligentes) research group was founded in 2000 to conduct multidisciplinary research and development activities in the area of advanced perception applications and self-driving systems. The group consists of professors and post-/under- graduate students.

Our Goal

LSI has been researching topics related to autonomous, connected and sustainable mobility for more than 25 years. During this time, several systems have been developed in the field of perception technologies and intelligent systems. The research it carries out applies robotics and artificial intelligence to solve the problems currently facing mobility.

The laboratory has different research platforms, including two autonomous electric vehicles and a bus, different robots for cross-country applications, autonomous systems for railway environments and several drones. This research is developed through various public and private projects, both national and international.
