David Yagüe has been awarded first place in the Road category within the Young Researcher Awards for his research work “V2I-based Real-Time Lane Deviation Handling for Automated Vehicles to Face Road Characteristics”, presented at the Transport Research Arena 2026 in Budapest. This research was carried out within the framework of the project “Monitoring and control system to guarantee minimum risk conditions in the event of failures and scenarios not contemplated in level 4 autonomous driving (SAFE4CAR)”, funded by the Government of Spain. Congratulations to all the authors, and especially to David Yagüe!!
