The project proposes the development of a novel system of aeroterrestrial inspection of the railway environment based on a collaborative operation between diverse teams, oriented towards a massive capture of data and its efficient treatment, with the aim of enabling a predictive maintenance of the networks and their environment, and will allow the obtaining of a first prototype with a direct and immediate applicability. The project proposes an unprecedented advance in the digitalization of the railway both for the generation of a digital inventory and the advance in the line of predictive maintenance, one of the basic axes of action of all European and national organizations and programs at present, as well as the future Innovation Plan for Transport and Infrastructures of the Ministry of Development.
Consequently, the main objective of the project is the development of a novel autonomous aeroterrestrial system for the collaborative inspection and digitization of the railway network
