DIGIMATER-CM

Digital strategies for autonomous discovery of materials for engineering applications

TEC-2024/TEC-102

CAM

The goal of DIGIMATER-CM is to create a research platform to accelerate the development of materials through digital strategies. This includes robotic automation of repetitive tasks and the use of artificial intelligence to optimize experiments and exploit composition-processing-property relationships. The comprehensive approach will allow for an autonomous approach in optimizing properties and processing parameters. An autonomous laboratory will be developed with collaborative robots, generating knowledge through artificial intelligence techniques.

This lab will be used to accelerate the development of biocompatible and sustainably sourced biocompatible nanocomposites, magnetoelectric nanocomposites. The DIGIMATER-CM network aims to endure and transfer results to the business sector. DIGIMATER-CM’s strategies involve the application of automation and robotics to increase the throughput of material preparation and characterization experiments, as well as the integrated use of artificial intelligence to control the execution of experimental workflows, interpret experimental results, and leverage composition-processing-property relationships.
