In this project, we intend to develop a decision support unit in charge of receiving information from the perception system on the interpretation of the environment and on which the vehicle classification system will depend, as well as on the interpretation of the scene in terms of the direction of travel, speed, traffic flow, etc. Its development and validation represent a challenge due to its complexity and dependence on the type of environment, lighting conditions, etc.
The different tasks that are contemplated within this activity are:

  1. Design of the sensory fusion system based on computer vision and lidar technology.
  2. Application of neural networks to gauging analysis.
  3. Detection of “kamikaze” vehicles.
  4. IoT applied to mobile payment.
